Villa Jean Piaget
Risk of losing Geneva’s cultural patrimony

Villa Les Cerisiers, [Cherry Trees] is Jean Piaget’s villa in Pinchat, Geneva. It is the place where Jean Piaget, the most important psychologist of the 20th century, lived with his family and worked from the 1930s onward. This house runs the risk of being sold, and that would amount to an incalculable loss in Geneva’s historical, scientific, and cultural patrimony.

On 1st July 2014, an association was founded whose goal is the safe-keeping of Villa Piaget. The Association is working to disseminate information about Villa Piaget to the wider public, and to encourage cooperation between individuals and groups in a position to contribute to its safe-keeping, including suitable financing.
